El Campo, TX / Full-Time (Mon-Fri, 7am - 5pm)
Are you a skilled mechanic looking for more responsibility? We are seeking a Lead Mechanic to manage our diverse fleet in El Campo. While we need someone with a strong mechanical foundation, we aren't necessarily looking for a "master mechanic" with decades of experience.
If you have the right skills, a "can-do" attitude, and a desire to grow, we are happy to provide the mentorship and guidance needed to help you master the "Chief" role. This is the perfect spot for a talented person ready to step up, take ownership of a shop, and build a long-term career.
What You’ll Work On:
You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide-ranging fleet, including:
-
Heavy Equipment: Track hoes, dozers, and skid steers.
-
Transport: 18-wheelers, trailers, and pickups.
-
Agricultural: Tractors and specialized equipment.
-
Support Gear: Mowers and various utility equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Hands-On Repair: Perform diagnostics and repairs across diesel, gas, and hydraulic systems.
-
Shop Management: Take ownership of the shop — ordering parts, managing inventory, and keeping things organized.
-
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of all repairs and preventative maintenance.
-
Coordination: Oversee and guide other workers assisting with repairs to ensure the job is done right.
-
Independence: Work effectively without constant oversight once you are settled into the role.
Who You Are:
-
Mechanically Minded: You have a solid grasp of engines and equipment. You might still be learning the finer points of heavy iron, but you have the talent and the drive to figure it out.
-
A Self-Starter: You don’t wait for a list of instructions; you see what needs to be done and you handle it.
-
Accountable: You take pride in your work and understand the importance of keeping accurate records and a clean shop.
-
Coachability: You have a great attitude and are looking for a place where you can learn from experienced pros while taking on real responsibility.
Requirements:
-
Proven experience in mechanical repair (Diesel or Heavy Equipment experience is a plus).
-
Ability to work a consistent Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM schedule.
-
Basic organizational skills for parts ordering and documentation.
-
Valid driver’s license.
Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 per year (Depending on Experience)

Are you an experienced Class A driver who is tired of the "no-growth" trucking grind? We are looking for a professional driver who is ready to move into a management role without leaving the equipment behind.
At J4 Fencing & Services, we don’t just need a driver; we need a Field Superintendent. We are looking for an experienced operator who wants to transition into project management, crew leadership, and professional customer relations. We will provide the leadership training — you provide the elite driving skills and the "lead-by-example" work ethic.
Why This Is The Right Move For You

Your Mission:
-
Elite Logistics: Safely transport commercial rigs and specialized fencing equipment to job sites.

You will be the go between for the crew and the customer for the duration of the project. Once the job is complete, you will will move the crew back home or to the next job, and submit all paperwork required for invoicing to offic staff.
-
The Face of the Company: You will be the primary point of contact for our customers. You must be presentable, well-spoken, and professional at all times.
-
Problem Solving: Use your experience to make decisions on the fly and keep projects moving efficiently.
Qualifications:
-
Valid Class A CDL: A clean driving record and significant experience with commercial rigs are non-negotiable.
-
Communication: You must be able to speak clearly and professionally with clients and management.
-
Bilingual (Spanish/English): This is a huge plus and will make you a much more effective leader with our crews and clients.
